London, 16 Sep - Supreme Leader Khamenei’s representative said earlier in the week that it is essential to Iran for the Syrian dictator Bashar al Assad to remain in power.

Earlier this year the Supreme Leader had said that if the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) was not in Syria, it would be fighting in Iranian cities.

A few days ago, Assad thanked and praised “Iman” Khamenei, describing him as the Supreme Leader of the Revolution. He praised the role of the Iranian regime in seizing more of the province of Deir-al-Zour and for killing Syrians.

London, 1 Sep - Russian involvement in the Syrian Civil War in support of the Bashar Assad dictatorship has deeply impacted on their relations with Middle Eastern countries; meaning that they are further distanced from the countries fighting on behalf of the Syrian people and more closely linked with Iran.

The Iranian Regime has supported Russian military involvement and praised the Russian for their support of a fragile dictatorship which would have been overthrown by its own people long ago if not for outside intervention.

London, 29 Aug - On Friday, a shocking report was published about Iran’s activities in Syria, which was based on a report by the Mossad, Israel’s external intelligence service, and detailed the buildup of Iranian troops in Syria.

70,000 Shiite combatants have joined the Syrian army, forming a long-term existential threat to Israel, according to Israeli analyst Zvi Barel.

Further, the report said that Iran is using civilian airplanes from the Iranian companies Mahan Air and Iran Air to transfer military equipment and troops to Syria. The Iranian carriers are airlifting these reinforcements during the night to avoid satellite tracking, in violation of the nuclear deal that six world powers made with Iran in 2015.

London, 28 Aug - The Iranian Regime’s influence in Syria is a major concern to the rest of the Middle East but what can be done about it?

Well, unfortunately, a number of factors have come together which makes removing Iran from Syria will be particularly complicated.

The first of which is the 2015 nuclear agreement between Iran and the P5+1 countries (the US, UK, France, China and Russia, plus Germany) which makes international action against Iran more difficult.

London, 16 Aug - The Iranian Regime is building a long-range rocket factory in Syria, according to a report on Israeli television.

The Channel 2 television news report, which aired on Tuesday, showed satellite images of the site under construction in northwest Syria near to the Mediterranean coastal town of Baniyas.
