London, 24 Apr - As their sham Presidential Elections draw ever closer, it becomes clearer and clear that the Iranian Regime is worried about potential uprisings from its oppressed people; similar to the Green revolution which followed the 2009 election.

The Supreme Leader of the Iranian Regime, Ali Khamenei, recently met with military commanders to express his security concerns.

London, 24 Apr - While the Trump administration is right to be worried about Syria and North Korea in terms of human rights abuses and regional destabilisation, but these are relatively small issues in comparison to the threat posed by the Iranian Regime, according to Jennifer Rubin.

She wrote: “The incoherence here is stunning. On one hand, we are properly worried over Syria and North Korea. On the other hand, our current policy toward Iran, a much greater threat, is such that we are helping to rebuild and enrich a country that is supporting Assad, is exporting terrorism, is fomenting regional chaos and -- even without cheating -- can eventually obtain nuclear weapons.”

London, 22 Apr - The pro-Iran lobby in the US has accused Trump of trying to start a war with Iran.

The Regime apologists, who refuse to accept that middle-eastern country could possibly be bringing this on itself, criticised Donald Trump for extending sanctions against Iran, allowing Congress to debate whether Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) should be designated as a foreign terror organisation (FTO), and putting the Gulf nation on notice following ballistic missile tests which violate the 2015 nuclear pact between Iran and six world powers.

London, 21 Apr - The State Department officially notified Congress that Iran was complying with its commitments under the nuclear deal, so Tehran was by surprised, when one day later, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's latest remarks that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action has failed to quell Iran's capability and willpower to develop nuclear weapons. Tillerson emphasized that the regime continues to pose a grave threat to international peace and security.

London, 18 Apr - Senator John McCain (R-AZ), Chair of the Senate Armed Services Committee, praised members the Iranian Resistance for standing up for freedom at a conference in Albania, earlier this month.

He said: “You have stood up and fought and sacrificed for freedom, for the right to live free, for the right to determine your own future, for the rights that are God-given. I thank you for being an example, an example to the whole world, that those people who are willing to fight and sacrifice for freedom will achieve it, and you are an example to everyone in the world that is struggling for (freedom).”

London, 21 Apr - Six politicians were approved to run in Iran’s presidential election, but the former hardline president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, wasn’t one of them. The list of candidates who had applied to run for president ran to more than 1,600 other nominees, including 137 female candidates, as well as Ahmadinejad. According to the final list of approved candidates announced on Thursday, all but six have been disqualified.

This election takes place at a critical time for the Regime; infighting has never been so high between the ruling elites, Iran is involved in several international crises (as well as its ongoing taunting of the US), and the mullahs are deeply unpopular within their own country.

The dissidents were finally released from the former US military base last year and many of them have now made Albania their permanent residence. London, 20 Apr - The Iranian Regime blocked access to a free voice messaging feature, from the Telegram messaging app, just days after its release.

This new encrypted voice calls service was rolled out to users around the world last week, but in a statement released on Monday, Telegram announced that the feature was being blocked by internet service providers as soon as one day after release.

London, 15 Apr - The Treasury Department in the United States announced on Thursday that more sanctions would be imposed on Iran. This time, those affected are an Iranian prison company and its former leader.

The reason behind this latest set of sanctions is because of abuse carried out in a Tehran prison against several political prisoners. In 2014, prison guards carried out beatings on dozens of political prisoners.

The sanctions were levied on the Tehran Prisons Department for violating the human rights of those held there and committing brutal crimes, like torture, rape, and murder.

London, 15 Apr - Ebrahim Raisi has just announced his candidacy for the Iranian election that will take place next month. He is also a possible successor to Ali Khamenei, the country’s Supreme Leader.

Earlier in the week, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - a former Iranian President – announced he would also be running for presidency, but seeing as he did so against the wishes of the Supreme Leader, it is safe to say he does not have a chance of winning. He will probably not even get past the screening carried out by the Guardian Council.

The craft was described as too small for a human pilot and lacked a nozzle for the engine- which would have set the plane alight.
