London, 11 Jan - Hunger strikers within Iran appear to be causing the totalitarian regime there to reconsider the conditions of political prisoners.

Just last week, Arash Sadeghi ended his 71-day hunger strike following the temporary release of his wife, Golrokh Ebrahimi Iraee.

London, 11 Jan - Activist and political prisoner Ali Moezzi has been missing for six days; now the world is watching Iran.

Moezzi was last seen on January 4 when his family visited him in Gohardasht Prison. Following this visit, he was not taken back to his cells and neither his family nor other inmates have heard from him since.

London, 7 Jan - The Iranian Resistance in Canada has called for the political prisoner Ali Moezzi to be freed immediately.

The Canadian Friends of a Democratic Iran wrote a letter to Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, The United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), wanting more information about Moezzi’s condition.

London, 9 Jan - The daughters of political prisoner, Ali Moezzi, who went missing inside an Iranian jail on January 4, have pleaded with the international community to demand news on their father.

Hejrat and Forough Moezzi, both members of the Iranian Resistance group, the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK), spoke to the International Business Times about their fears that their father has been secretly murdered.

Hossein Sadeghi said: "my son Arash has gone on hunger strike for 67 days and he is struggling with death now. On Monday 26th December 2016, Arash was transferred to Taleghani Hospital of Tehran for treatment due to the critical health condition.

London, 7 Jan - The Head of trooper police of South Khorasan province announced that a person was sentenced to 74 lashes for insulting the troopers.

As state run ILNA news agency reported, Colonel Rezaei announced:"a car was stopped by the troopers due to illegal overtaking. As the officers asked the driver to show vehicle documents, the driver started insulting them. Following the incident, the authorities filed a lawsuit against him and the court sentenced him to 74 lashes."

London, 29 Dec - On Tuesday, Shahrvand Daily, part of the Tehran Times, first reported on the struggles that force many of the poorest Iranian people, the homeless, to spend their nights in empty graves. Shahrvand Daily published the shocking footage, shot by Saeed Gholamhoseini in Shahriar, some 20 kilometers west of Tehran, which showed some 50 men, women, and children, living in the cemetery.
