8 injured after explosion in Iran prison |

 Tehran, Jan. 21 – An explosion in the central prison in the town of Zahedan (southeast Iran) left at least eight wounded.
Officials announced that the explosion was due to a malfunctioning air capsule.
No fatalities were reported.
Iran's prisons are among the most crowded and unsafe in the world. Some prisons are believed to exceed the prison limit by as many as three times. |
