Tehran, Iran, Apr. 14 – Radical Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad described on Friday Israel as a “rotten tree” that would be “annihilated with one storm”.

“The Zionist regime is a dried up and rotten tree which will be annihilated with one storm”, Ahmadinejad said at a conference in Tehran dubbed “International Conference of Holy Qods and Support for the Rights of the Palestinian Nation”.

The radical president who in December called for Israel to be “wiped off the map” said on Friday that the Jewish state was “heading towards annihilation”.

“The Zionist regime is a clear injustice and this regime is, by nature, a constant threat. It was created with the aim of setting up a constant threat in the region”, Ahmadinejad said.

“Israel cannot continue to exist in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity without threats and aggression. If this regime stays on one inch of Palestine’s soil, it will continue its threats”.
