Iran’s FM expected in Damascus to attend summit |

Tehran, Iran, Mar. 28 - Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki will visit Damascus on Friday to attend the 20th Arab League Summit from March 29-30 and hold talks with senior Syrian officials, state media reported.
Mottaki visited Syria one five other occasions over the past 12 months.
Iran’s First Vice President Parviz Davoudi travelled to Damascus on March 5 where the two sides signed nine memoranda of understanding (MoU) on expansion of cooperation between the two countries.
Regional allies Iran and Syria are both accused by the United States of being state sponsors of terrorism.
