Tehran, Iran, Feb. 15 – Iran’s Supreme Energy Council (SEC) has been integrated into a government sub-committee, state media reported on Friday.
“With the dissolution of certain state supreme councils, the SEC has been disbanded and incorporated into a government sub-committee”, the state-run news agency Fars said.
The SEC was responsible for formulating much of state policy in the field of energy, with particular focus on oil, natural gas, and electricity.
