Tehran, Iran, Dec. 19 - An Iranian student was arrested earlier this week after reporting to the country’s moral police as he had been instructed to do, students in Tehran told Iran Focus.
Bahram Shojaii, a Chemical Engineering student at Tehran University’s Faculty of Engineering, appeared before the Revolutionary and Public Prosecutor’s Office on Sunday after receiving a summons.
He was immediately arrested there, fellow students said in an emailed statement.
Shojaii had previously been arrested on December 13 while distributing leaflets against the detention of fellow students.
