Iran Focus: Tehran, Iran, Aug. 08 – Iran’s interior ministry appointed a new governor for the northern city of Shahroud, state media reported on Tuesday.

Tehran, Iran, Aug. 08 – Iran’s interior ministry appointed a new governor for the northern city of Shahroud, state media reported on Tuesday.

Interior Minister Mostafa Pour-Mohammadi appointed Mostafa Rahimi as the city’s new governor.

Rahimi will officially take office following a ceremony next week.

He formerly served in the Ministry of Trade.
