Tehran, Iran, Jul. 04 – Iran’s top nuclear negotiator once again rejected a demand by the United Nations Security Council for Tehran to suspend uranium enrichment, state television reported on Tuesday.

“We have already announced our stance on the issue of suspension of enrichment”, Ali Larijani said.

“I announce once again that we do not believe a suspension of enrichment to be a reasonable proposal”, he said.

Larijani is set to meet with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana on Wednesday to discuss a package of incentives offered to Tehran by the permanent members of the Security Council and Germany in return for it to halt uranium enrichment.
