Tehran, Iran, Mar. 10 – Iran does not currently plan to hold bilateral negotiations with the United States, the official news agency IRNA reported on Monday.

“Tehran presently has no plans to hold bilateral talks with the U.S.”, Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini was quoted as saying at his weekly press conference.

Washington must take “long strides” to build confidence before Tehran would be willing to hold talks with it on Iran-U.S. bilateral relations.
