ImageTehran, Iran, Nov. 06 – An earthquake measuring 4.2 on the Richter scale jolted the port city of Bandar-e Kong in southern Iran on Wednesday.

The quake struck at 05.52 am local time (02.22 GMT), the official news agency IRNA reported.

Bandar-e Kong is situated in Hormuzgan province on Iran's southern shores.

There were no reports of any casualties or damage to property.
