ImageTehran, Iran, Nov. 14 – Iranian energy officials went to Kuwait earlier this week to discuss the daily transfer of 500 billion cubic feet of gas to the Arab Emirate, official media reported.

Kuwait has been holding talks with Iranian officials about this deal for the past four years.

Gholam-Hossein Nozari, Iran’s oil minister, headed the delegation to Kuwait, hoping to reach an agreement on the issue.

The first phase of the deal is expected to be launched in 2011.
