ImageVIENNA (AP) — An official says the American journalist recuperating in Austria after spending four months in an Iranian prison is not planning to talk to reporters here.

Austrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Peter Launsky-Tieffenthal says Sunday that Roxana Saberi wants some "downtime" and is asking journalists for their understanding. On Friday Saberi had said she is not yet ready to talk about her ordeal.

The 32-year-old journalist, who moved to Iran six years ago, was arrested in late January and was convicted of spying in a closed-door trial that her Iranian-born father said lasted only 15 minutes. After months in jail, she was freed Monday.

Saberi was whisked away to a secret location upon arriving Friday in Austria with her parents.
