The Javan Online website, close to the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps, quoted an informed source as saying: “In a subsequent search, the officers seized 2,000 copies of a statement issued by the Monafeqin Organisation (pejorative term used by Tehran to describe the main opposition group People’s Mojahedin, PMOI) and a number of banned books, he was carrying with him”.

“The informed source said that the individual admitted he was planning to distribute the statement, in which the Monafeqin had called for demonstrations on 12 June”, Javan Online reported.
