Germany managed to convince India to reduce its crude imports from Iran a few days ago before Chancellor Angela Merkel seeks support in China next week for the European Union’s ban on the country’s oil, Focus magazine reported, citing an adviser to Merkel it didn’t identify.
The aim is to get China at least not to increase its imports from Iran, the magazine cited the adviser as saying.
