Iran’s government has allocated 150 trillion rials ($12.2 billion) to support agriculture projects in the year started March 20, the Tehran Times reported, citing Agriculture Minister Sadegh Khalilian.
In addition, some 40 trillion rials was allotted to expand the country’s agricultural infrastructure, Khalilian said without giving details, according to the Tehran-based daily newspaper today.
