Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance ‘strongly condemned the ruthless terrorist attack’ that killed 12 people including a number of staff and reporters of a weekly newspaper in Paris.
Maryam Rajavi “offered her condolences to the bereaved families of the victims of this tragedy and to the people and the Government of France,” according to a statement published by the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
“Mrs. Rajavi emphasized, the Iranian people and their Resistance stand with the people of France and the aggrieved families of the victims of this heinous crime.”
Masked gunmen stormed the Paris offices of the satirical newspaper Wednesday, killing 12 people, including the paper’s editor and a cartoonist, before escaping in a getaway car.
The attack was France’s deadliest terror attack in at least two decades.
World leaders including President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel condemned the attack.
