Tehran, Iran, May 10 – Several branches on Iran’s Open University have banned male students from wearing short-sleeve shirts or T-shirts.

Notices have been put up in universities in the towns of Islamshahr and Garmsar warning male students that they would be prevented from entering the campuses if they wore short-sleeve shirts.

The notices also state that violators will be reported to the disciplinary committee.
