Tehran, Iran, Jan. 28 – Russia’s security chief Igor Ivanov arrived in Tehran late on Saturday for two days of talks with Iranian officials, the official news agency IRNA reported on Sunday.

Ivanov, who heads Russia’s Security Council, met Ali Larijani, the secretary general of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), on Sunday.

The pair discussed Tehran-Moscow bilateral issues, the international standoff over Tehran’s nuclear program, and regional developments, the report said.
