Tehran, Iran, Apr. 03 – Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will hold a press conference on Wednesday on the status of 15 British marines and sailors being held by Iran, state television reported.

The conference was originally set to take place today but was postponed because of “requests by journalists”, the report quoted the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry as announcing.

It added that on Wednesday Ahmadinejad would give his opinion on Iran’s standoff with London over the Britons’ arrest.
