Tehran, Iran, Apr. 08 – At least three people were injured when a car’s petrol tank exploded at a gas station in northern Iran, state media reported on Tuesday.

The accident occurred on Monday in the city of Talesh in the province of Gilan, the official news agency IRNA said.

According to a report by the Talesh Fire Station, the Pride vehicle was completely demolished in the accident and three other cars at the gas station sustained damages, as did one of the fuel pumps at the station.

The report said that the car’s non-standard petrol tank was the cause of the accident.
