Tehran, Iran, Apr. 07 – Iranian authorities went ahead with tying a teenager to a tree in public in Tehran on Thursday for “causing trouble” on the orders of a district judge, state-run Persian-language websites reported on Friday.

The 18-year-old, identified only by his first name Mostafa, was tied to a tree in public in the Iranian capital’s district of Razi for four hours.

The judge had convicted Mostafa of damaging several cars and stores.
