Tehran, Iran, Aug. 09 – Iran is set to manufacture a new line of Fajr-3 planes, state media reported.

The aviation industries organisation affiliated to the Defence Ministry has obtained permission to begin manufacturing the Fajr-3 planes, according to the state-run news agency Fars.

The Farj-3 is a four-seater aircraft with a maximum speed of 175 knots capable of climbing 19,000 feet.
