GOTEBORG, Sweden (AP) — European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana says Iran must immediately resolve issues surrounding its second nuclear enrichment facility with the U.N.'s nuclear agency.
Solana also says he is concerned about Iran's missile tests Sunday and Monday, but he is declining to discuss new sanctions against the country. Solana was speaking before a meeting of EU defense ministers Monday.
Last week, the United States and its allies revealed that Iran had been secretly developing an underground uranium enrichment facility.
Solana said talks Thursday between Iran, the five permanent Security Council members and Germany are now taking place "in a new context."
