Tehran, Iran, Apr. 05 Irans hard-line President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told some 100 Iranian lawmakers that the Islamic Republics key to obtaining its nuclear rights in the face of Western pressures was to pursue a policy of absolute steadfastness.
Today, the key to victory against the powers is steadfastness and resistance, just as it was in the past, Ahmadinejad said late Tuesday, the state-run news agency ISNA reported on Wednesday.
He accused the West of trying to deprive Iran from its nuclear rights.
The United Nations Security Council adopted a statement unanimously last week giving Iran 30 days to suspend all of its uranium enrichment activities and resume its cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency.
The West suspects Iran is attempting to develop nuclear weapons.
